I
met Rahim Anjaan Saheb in1978 during a Mushaira in Ottawa. I
was an engineering student at the University of Ottawa when Faiz
Ahmed Faiz, our beloved and famous poet from Pakistan, visited
Canada.. As a student, I was asked to impersonate and read poems of
famous poets of that time including Faiz Ahmed Faiz in his
presence at the university auditorium – an experience that remains
fresh in my memory after 28 years.
